Description
April 18, 2015 - Northeast of Riverdale Nebraska US
Almost perfect conditions for severe weather that day in North Central Kansas and South Central Nebraska. Towers were in full force by 4:30pm and the NWS has issued waring for Buffalo County. Storm cells were only moving at 15mph to the north northwest and it was producing some quarter sized hail.
Got north of the hail core via Hwy 10. It (the hail core) was just dumping on the south side of this storm, so the plan was to move north northwest of the storm and see what I get.
Full fledged wall cloud was developing directly southwest. I had positioned myself to the north west of Pleasaton Nebraska to possibly get that special photographic opportunity.
I truly wasn't disappointed. It was in my terms... the perfect day!
