We had a week of strong nightly storms that week back in June 2013. Each day this time of year is normal with severe storms for us. That particular evening, severe thunderstorm warnings out for the counties in southwest Nebraska most of the afternoon. The front had finally pushed into south central Nebraska about 2:30ish in the morning. 4-5 hours before I had to work. I pulled myself out of bed with equipment already ready. I was off just a few blocks west of my home for a fast setup and then click click click away.
I knew there was a reason why I saved these pictures. I shot mostly in .jpg format due to my lack of knowing, using, altering .raw files. I was using free software to edit the images, so I could never get the images to come out like the end result of these remasters

NebraskaSC = Nebraska Storm Chaser I've been chasing storms since the early 80's, out in the plains of Nebraska. A passion to capture the moments that mother nature brings every spring summer and fall to South Central Nebraska. Yes I chase the storms, but I don't travel all that far to get these superb captures of natures fury. I seem to have a knack to be in the right place at the right time. I'm not egotistical, my photography is an extension of what I call art. Since I cannot draw, or paint, but I can get to the right place at the right time when severe weather approaches. These are a collection of my doing so.
