Artist's Description

June 5, 2022 - South Central Nebraska US

Southwest of of Overton Nebraska...

This set of images is what I live for... Those epic moments when you finally hunted/found what your looking for. It does take a lot of patience to storm chase. The waiting, the planning, the doing... But the rewards at the end are priceless. My antlers on the wall....

Now for some storm chasers... the Holy Grail of Storm chasing is a Tornado. But not for me.
It is events like this that give the full definition of Storm Chasing. It really what storm chasing Eye Candy is all about! It is the "Why" or the understanding of why I do this!

One the edge of this Nebraska Supercell I felt the AWE of Mother Nature!

Surreal!
Epic
Awesome!

About Dale Kaminski

Dale Kaminski

NebraskaSC = Nebraska Storm Chaser I've been chasing storms since the early 80's, out in the plains of Nebraska. A passion to capture the moments that mother nature brings every spring summer and fall to South Central Nebraska. Yes I chase the storms, but I don't travel all that far to get these superb captures of natures fury. I seem to have a knack to be in the right place at the right time. I'm not egotistical, my photography is an extension of what I call art. Since I cannot draw, or paint, but I can get to the right place at the right time when severe weather approaches. These are a collection of my doing so.
