A long jaunt... 1200+ mile trip to see some clouds. But every second was worth it. Mother Nature wasn't going to be fickle on this day...

Had an invite to tag along with Trent Bosler and & Freddy McKinney down to chase the huge risk day down on the south west edge of Oklahoma. It paid off in dividends. 2 great people that I haven't had a chance to chase with before. Trent Bosler (with SVLMedia) & Freddy McKinney, and young and talented up and coming chaser. Both of these 2 gentlemen have refined skills on chasing storms. I went as an observer this day as I don't get this opportunity very much as I would like. To study how others do thing when it comes to storm chasing. Navigation, safety practices, and predictions. Believe me when I say I learned something about someone else's process, I did. Grateful that I got to come along and I respectfully learned from both of them. Things that I will take back and teach others that want to chase. <...

NebraskaSC = Nebraska Storm Chaser I've been chasing storms since the early 80's, out in the plains of Nebraska. A passion to capture the moments that mother nature brings every spring summer and fall to South Central Nebraska. Yes I chase the storms, but I don't travel all that far to get these superb captures of natures fury. I seem to have a knack to be in the right place at the right time. I'm not egotistical, my photography is an extension of what I call art. Since I cannot draw, or paint, but I can get to the right place at the right time when severe weather approaches. These are a collection of my doing so.
