May 1, 2018 - Wymore Nebraska
This set of captures were taken just south of Wymore Nebraska. I had just came from south of Fairbury when over our 2 way reports of the storm to the south of Wymore had just went tornadic and there had already been confirmed reports of funnels ...
I don't speed, I calculated the time it would take for me to get there and .. I had time indeed to get into position to intercept. So I moved again to get into position, to get aligned with this next storm cell.
Already in Wymore & heading south. The storm was already raging... Moving due northeast... Some good hail 1 1/2" diameter hail stones were pounding my truck just on the outskirts of the township. I had stopped in a safe position... I was on the back end of the storm on the southwest side of the rotation... about 200 yards due east I noticed rotation right in front of me and BINGO...
2nd Tornado of 2018 in all of it's sweetness....

NebraskaSC = Nebraska Storm Chaser I've been chasing storms since the early 80's, out in the plains of Nebraska. A passion to capture the moments that mother nature brings every spring summer and fall to South Central Nebraska. Yes I chase the storms, but I don't travel all that far to get these superb captures of natures fury. I seem to have a knack to be in the right place at the right time. I'm not egotistical, my photography is an extension of what I call art. Since I cannot draw, or paint, but I can get to the right place at the right time when severe weather approaches. These are a collection of my doing so.
