March 20, 2018 - South of Kearney Nebraska US

Spring is in the Nebraska Air!!!



I didn't have to wait very long for my first storm opportunity. Though this was not a severe storm and it was only one cell.



We had briefings from the weather service about possible non severe thunderstorms for that afternoon. I have been wanting to get out to get some cloud action and I wasn't going to get disappointed.



I know what I'm looking for when it comes to storm cloud structure. This was a good way to start off the year. Close to home and it couldn't have been more photogenic!

Yes I chase the storms, but I don't travel all that far to get these superb captures of natures fury. I seem to have a knack to be in the right place at the right time. I'm not egotistical, my photography is an extension of what I call art. Since I cannot draw, or paint, but I can get to the right place at the right time when severe weather approaches. These are a collection of my doing so.
