June was a tough month... Not only did I have my transmission go out on the truck. Their would be NO storm chasing for about 3 weeks. Of course its June and we did have few good storms pass though and I was disappointed that we couldn't go get em.
Close to the end of the month we had a favorable setup close to home and we got our gear and headed north. Since I'm usually driving I don't ever get to sit in the passenger seat and take pics or video. That was a treat. Thanks Marcus for experience that I haven't done in quite a while!
This was a good storm and had some incredible rotation... though it was being undercut and it would result in no tornado that afternoon. We did get right underneath is for the best possible views and Marcus had some incredible Drone Video from this storm!
Overall we got what we came for. It was a good day and a good chase! More to come!
#ForeverChasing
NebraskaSC = Nebraska Storm Chaser I've been chasing storms since the early 80's, out in the plains of Nebraska. A passion to capture the moments that mother nature brings every spring summer and fall to South Central Nebraska. Yes I chase the storms, but I don't travel all that far to get these superb captures of natures fury. I seem to have a knack to be in the right place at the right time. I'm not egotistical, my photography is an extension of what I call art. Since I cannot draw, or paint, but I can get to the right place at the right time when severe weather approaches. These are a collection of my doing so.
