Last few weeks of chasing was extremely fun... though its good to be close to home. It's of course where I'm most familiar with the terrain and most of all the atmosphere. This would be one of my beginning phases of Lightning photography for 2018.
Lightning is the main reason why I started storm chasing. EVERY opportunity I can get, and folks the formula has to be perfect...its not easy capture Epic lighting shots. As many as you see, I have about 20 that I don't. Shooting lightning over the past 30 years... I have my own way to capture it. A learning experience that is still in session.

A passion to capture the moments that mother nature brings every spring summer and fall to South Central Nebraska. Yes I chase the storms, but I don't travel all that far to get these superb captures of natures fury. I seem to have a knack to be in the right place at the right time. I'm not egotistical, my photography is an extension of what I call art. Since I cannot draw, or paint, but I can get to the right place at the right time when severe weather approaches.
