June 20, 2011 - I-80 Interstate Interchange Elm Creek - Nebraska US
Now on the I-80 Interchange at the Elm Creek Nebraska Exit. This was forming just to my southwest as another tornado was on the ground right in front of me.
I could hear the trees being ripped out of the ground and they sounded like a thousand snapping toothpicks. I didn't have much time as I would soon learn that there were 2 tornadoes on the ground and not just one. This was just one of the several satellite funnels that were forming all around me at the time of these captures.

A passion to capture the moments that mother nature brings every spring summer and fall to South Central Nebraska. Yes I chase the storms, but I don't travel all that far to get these superb captures of natures fury. I seem to have a knack to be in the right place at the right time.
